Preciosa® GENUINE CZECH CRYSTAL components
NAIL ART CRYSTALS
Embellish and design with nail art crystals from Preciosa (in The Czech Republic) and from Swarovski (in Austria). These flatback stones are made of crystal, not glass or acrylic, so they sparkle beautifully the way you'd expect a diamante to.
You'll find that the Preciosa crystals are generally larger (ss7 and ss8), and the Swarovski crystals are mostly smaller (ss5). This allows for a range of sizes to be suitable for different nails and different nail techniques. If you choose to use a mix of sizes it also allows you to be creative with your designs and build patterns as you work.
Swarovski crystals have a slightly higher 'table' on the top surface of the facets. This allows for slightly more 'bling' to come from the stone. The range of Preciosa crystals here on these Nail Art pages have a fairly flat 'table', thereby making them easier to manage (a higher 'table' in this sized stone has the possible disadvantage of being too high).
And one final note - we thoroughly recommend you try the Swarovski colour 'Silk', which looks beautiful on nude, neutral and pale polishes and manicures. (The photo simply doesn't do it justice!).
