These pointed back rhinestones are the kind used mainly in jewellery settings. Pointback rhinestones are also called Chatons. The pointed back gives a more intense sparkle, greater than flatbacked rhinestones give, due to the extra facets reflecting off the foiled backing.
As well as being set in jewellery pieces, mosaics or even fimo and metal clay projects, they nestle well into deeply piled fabrics and lace. The larger sized stones in this range have sometimes been used as scatter gems for table displays in weddings. Stock is limited.
